This is Micah. Micah first came to us when he was 10 years old complaining of neck and low back tightness. Dr. Sousa performed a thorough exam of his spine and nervous system, including spinal x-rays that revealed Micah actually had a 15.4° scoliosis curve causing stress to his nervous system and leading to symptoms he was experiencing. When Micah started receiving regular adjustments and performing at-home exercises, he started seeing improvements in the function and posture of his body. Now, only a year and a half later, follow-up x-rays show that the scoliosis of Micah’s spine improved from 15.4° to just 1.8° (almost perfectly straight)! These pictures show it all! Micah’s progress is an amazing testimony to the body’s ability to heal when subluxations are detected and corrected over time.
