We had the wonderful opportunity to see New England foliage in its prime! We had a beautiful outing to Castle Craig in nearby Meriden – After walking through the entrance at the sublime Hubbard Pond, we traversed the East Peak in the Hanging Hills and reached the summit. The castle offered spectacular views!

Our Open Campus here at South Windsor Farms had an awesome trip to The Li'l Plant Shop in nearby East Windsor where they were greeted by owner and horticulturalist Jeff Eleveld of "Jeff The Plant Guy" – It was so great to finally see his shop!

We celebrated our Roaring 20s Party on Halloween here at South Windsor Farms! Excellent food provided by our luxury Culinary Team, music, period attire, and a photo backdrop – A classy time was had by all!

We were thrilled to pieces to have our preschool friends joining us on Halloween here at South Windsor Farms… Songs, dancing, coloring, cookies, and trick-or-treating! We're not sure who had more fun – the kids or the residents!

It was a beautiful day in the Greater Hartford area walking together for a cause near and dear to our hearts. South Windsor Farms and our sister communities came together for the Walk to End Alzheimer's to support those living with Alzheimer's, as well as their families and caregivers. We were especially honored to have some of our Reflections Memory Care Neighborhood residents walking alongside us – a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. Together, we walk for hope, love, and remembrance.

Our Chili Cook-Off here at South Windsor Farms was a huge hit! The dishes included: Sweet potato chili, classic beef, country pork, Mexican beef & chicken, and Southwest. Congrats to Troy and his Southwest chili on winning first place!
