🌤️ Community Connections Programs & Services Update – Blizzard 2026
We are anticipating RE-OPENING ALL PROGRAMS and services, including transportation, on Monday 3/2/2026.

Power has been fully restored across our regions, and road conditions continue to improve each day.

If anything changes at specific locations due to ongoing community storm‑cleanup, we will share updates as soon as they’re available.

Community Connections Storm Update Friday 2/27:

No Community Connections transportation will be available at ANY location tomorrow, Friday 2/27.

Program Closures:
Wareham will remain CLOSED Friday, 2/27

Programs OPEN for Participants with their Own Transportation:
Fall River:
Davol St Day program, CBDS, employment services
Hartwell St
North Main St

Yarmouth:
Day program, CBDS, employment services, in-home supports

Plymouth:

ALL Community Connections day habilitation and CBDS program locations will remain CLOSED tomorrow, Thursday, February 26.

Many across our service area still face power outages, unsafe roads, and personal challenges. We truly appreciate you staying connected during this difficult time.

We want to acknowledge the efforts of our In‑Home Supports and Employment Services teams, who have continued checking in and offering support to the people we serve wherever feasible.

We look forward to reopening programs as soon as it is safe to do so.

The final steel beam has been set at Campbell Crossing, marking a major milestone in the future home of Community Connections, Inc.’s Fall River Life Skills Program. CFO Joe Sullivan and COO Joe Krajewski attended and signed the final beam alongside the I Am a Community Connector statement before it was installed at the roofline of 295 Bedford St.
We are proud to be part of the revitalization of the city and to partner with the Anthony F. Cordeiro Charitable Foundation Inc. in investing in Fall River’s growth.

📢 Community Connections Storm Update – Closure Through Wednesday, 2/25
The Blizzard of 2026 continues to cause significant challenges across our communities, including unsafe travel conditions and widespread power outages. Due to these ongoing issues, Community Connections will remain closed through Wednesday, February 25th.
We will reassess conditions again tomorrow based on snow removal progress and the status of our program locations. Our priority is ensuring the safety of everyone before reopening.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and support as our teams work through the effects of this historic storm. Please continue to stay safe, take care of one another, and check back for updates.

Community Connections Weather Update

Due to the ongoing storm and hazardous conditions, Community Connections will remain closed through Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

This includes all day services, community services, transportation, recreational programs, and scheduled orientations/trainings.

We will continue to monitor the storm’s impact and will provide an update regarding Wednesday’s schedule on Tuesday.

Safety remains our top priority, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this weather event.
