Caterpillars to Butterflies Child Development Center is celebrating Black History Month! 🖤

This week we learned about Garrett Morgan, the inventor of the traffic light. My babies were so excited to learn how something they see every day was created by a black inventor.🚦🚦🚦

We made our own little traffic lights out of construction paper, and they had the best time with this activity!

📚Last Week’s Library Visit Recap 📚

Last week’s library visit was so much fun! Our students enjoyed reading stories about animals and learning more about what to do when we have a cold or aren’t feeling well.

We wrapped up our visit with time spent with stuffed animals, and the children were so excited to receive stickers at the end! It’s always such a joy to see how much our little learners grow and engage during each visit.💛

We’re already looking forward to our next library adventure! 🐛🦋

Our Grandparents Day celebration was a huge success!

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon filled with lunch, laughter, and sweet story time shared with our amazing grandparents. 📚💛

Thank you so much to all the grandparents who showed up and made this day so special. Reading is such an important part of a child’s growth, and pairing it with grandparent bonding made it even more meaningful.

We truly appreciate the love and support all the parents ans grandparents give to Caterpillars to Butterflies Child Development Center!!!🐛🦋

🎶💃 Music & Movement Monday and 🍓🍧 Tasty Treat Tuesday were a big hit here at Caterpillars to Butterflies Child Development Center!

The children had a blast dancing, moving, and enjoying delicious tasty slushies to cool off! 😋❄️

It's safe to say our summer session is off to an amazing start — just look at those SMILES! 😄🌞

Donuts & Doodles with Dad was a huge success at Caterpillars to Butterflies Child Development Center! 🖍🍩
The children had a blast coloring and enjoying delicious donuts with their dads, grandfathers, uncles, and other special father figures. 💙

🌱🌍 Celebrating Earth Day at Caterpillars to Butterflies! 🌍🌱

Yesterday, we got our hands dirty in the best way—by planting seeds in honor of Earth Day! 🌸🌼 Our little learners also had a thoughtful discussion about how we can take care of our beautiful planet, from recycling to conserving water and showing love to nature. 💚

We even checked on the flowers we planted a few weeks ago—they’re growing just like our kiddos! 🌻 It was a fun and meaningful day full of learning, laughter, and lots of sunshine. ☀️
