Another community restaurant stepping up to support others!

Family is the foundation here at Gido’s, and serving families in our community is our why. It brings us the most joy seeing smiling faces of families sitting at our tables. We understand with the current shutdown many families in our community are experiencing food insecurity. We are here to help! Every Thursday after 3pm there will be a tray of food available to those in need. Please call the restaurant (508-213-3229) & ask for Ted. So we are aware of your arrival time & can meet you at the back door for pick up. This Thursday we will have Penne & Meatballs. With the holidays coming, and no government opening on the horizon we realize just how hard times may get. Serving our community is at the forefront of our hearts, and we want to serve beyond our doors to lessen the worry so many people may be experiencing. Please feel free to share this post and follow our pages across platforms for any updates.

Some photos from the Halloween Party last Friday hosted by our sister clubhouse Crystal House Clubhouse. We had so much fun eating donuts from a string, guessing how much candy was in a jar, and voting on most scary costume, most original costume, and most funny costume. Thank you for having us!

To support those in need with accessing food during this challenging time some community members have stepped up to offer support to those who need it. Below is a list of some of the resources we have seen on various social media cites.

East Brookfield- Free Brown Bag Lunches- Each bag includes a sandwich, fruit snacks, and drink.
Anyone who needs them
When: Saturday&Sunday 11:30pm-3pm
Reserve by Friday- Text 508-213-8300 to say how many bags you will need.
Location: 221 East Main St, East Brookfield, MA

Clambox Community Cares Project
During business hours stop by and ask for a Community Cares Meal and they will provide a pasta dinner To-Go for the appropriate number of people in your family, no questions asked.
Clam box hours: Sunday-Thursday 11am-9pm
Friday and Saturday: 11am-10pm
Location: 245 West Main Street, East Brookfield, MA

BT's Smokehouse
Starting tomorrow (Tuesday) and every Tuesday until SNAP funding returns they will be offering a one pot meal to anyone who needs it. This Tuesday will be chicken with rice and beans.
Go to the back door of the restaurant, through the fence. anytime after 3pm to get food, no questions asked.
