Hand augmentation and rejuvenation with Renuva for my beautiful 80 year young patient. This product is a different kind of filler that grows your own fat naturally without having to get liposuction. Renuva is an allograft adipose matrix tissue graft used to augment most any area where fat cells naturally occur.
Once injected, Renuva forms a scaffolding beneath the skin and recruits your existing surrounding fat cells to repopulate and build volume in the treated areas. The result is a more volumized and plumping effect, enhanced long-term collagen production, and improved skin texture and tone over the course of 3 to 6 months. If additional treatments would be beneficial to further improve the results, it can be determined at that time. Results are very long lasting (10+ years or more (maybe permanent) because once you grow your own fat, it won’t wear off like other fillers.
Renuva can be used in any areas where natural fat is lost or where extra fat volume is desired including:
1. minor defects, divots, or indentations in the skin, injuries or liposuction defects
2. cellulite or dimpling in the thighs and buttocks
3. facial volume loss, hollows, and folds
4. facial contouring and sculpting, including augmentation of the forehead, temples, cheeks, smile line, under-eyes and jaw
5. depressed atrophic acne or surgical scars
6. hand, neck, and chest rejuvenation
7. volumization in the chest, upper breasts, biceps, and calves or butt (“BBL”)
8. ‘hip dips’
9. cleavage or chest
10. anywhere else fat is lost or where more volume is desired.
We mix PRFM (Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix) in with Renuva for the best fat growth possible.
