Doctors now call muscle the “organ of longevity” because it protects almost every system in your body.

More muscle helps you:

Regulate blood sugar and insulin
Protect your bones from fractures and falls
Stay strong, mobile, and independent as you age
You don’t lose muscle because you get older.
You lose it because you stop sending the signal to keep it.

Most people don’t “fall apart” overnight.
They drift — slowly — down a slope they never meant to be on.
Less movement. More sitting. A few more aches each year.
But here’s the thing:
Your body isn’t the problem.
It’s just been waiting for new instructions.
