We are grateful to our team members that have sacrificed time with their families to stay overnight or brave treacherous road conditions to serve our community.

Last week, we were so excited to host a pre-party at Bradshaw Performing Arts Center for 'Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience' in the Black Box Theater for our residents and future residents of our expansion. Great energy, good company, and a few Abbey Road–inspired photo moments made it a fun way to kick off the evening — so fun that many of the photos are still making their way to us!

Between the scenic views, the warmth of the fire, a delicious meal, and gracious hospitality, the evening couldn’t have been more enjoyable. The best part was the time spent in conversation—connecting, laughing, and getting to know one another better. What a gift. 💜💚💜

Meet Little Chris — you may have seen him rolling around campus.

Built by our resident Dale, Little Chris (also known as Mini-Mooney) was created as the robot nemesis of our recently retired CFO, Chris Mooney. The two even shared the stage at our New Year’s Eve celebration, much to everyone’s delight.

Little Chris is powered by an Echo speaker that gives him his voice and AI-powered responses, along with a rotating camera-tripod neck, a bucket body on wheels, and a lithium battery that keeps him going. Built from everyday materials and a lot of ingenuity, he’s a fun example of how creativity, curiosity, and technology come together in unexpected ways.

And while Mini-Mooney doesn’t move on his own just yet (as Dale likes to say, “not yet!”), it’s Dale’s creativity—and sense of humor—that really bring him to life.

So if you see Little Chris (AKA Mini-Mooney) rolling by, be sure to say hi - he’s got plenty to talk about!

Residents enjoyed a beautiful musical performance today by Brazilian cellist Claudio Jaffe and pianist Catherine Lan.

Dr. Jaffe began his performance career at just 11 years old and has since performed in renowned concert halls around the world. Paired with Dr. Lan’s expressive piano accompaniment, the duo created a memorable and moving afternoon of music.

The music filled our Village House and made for a truly special afternoon. 💚🎶💜
