The Southfield Police Department, in partnership with Meijer, the Southfield Public Library, 411 Therapy, and Friends of the Southfield Public Library, is proud to celebrate the kickoff of Reading Month in March withe Badges & Books giveaway! The Police Department and partners will pass out gently used books for children from infants through young adults on Tuesday, March 1 from 5-7 p.m. at the Meijer store located at 28800 Telegraph Rd. (corner of Telegraph and 12 Mile). Additionally, the Southfield Police Department will be passing out free gun locks at this event. Chief Barren will also be on hand to relay the importance of enhancement through reading AND the importance of gun safety.

411 Therapy Is Proud To Have Teamed Up With The Southfield Police Department To Give Away Turkeys To Families In Need For Thanksgiving

Please Join Us on November 23rd as we are teaming up with the Southfield Police Department by providing a free Thanksgiving Turkey to any family in attendance. The goal is to spread holiday
joy to all, especially to families in need.

The event will take place on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, beginning 2:00 PM until the turkeys are gone, at 411 Therapy located at 23265 Northwestern Hwy,
Southfield MI 48075.

A food truck will also be available for everyone from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. The goal is to appreciate all the essential workers, from police officers, city employees, doctors, and nurses for their hard work.
