But for many disabled people and their families, the pressure to attend gatherings, tolerate loud environments, or engage in unwanted physical contact isn’t festive- it’s downright exhausting.
Accessibility doesn’t stop at ramps and quiet rooms.
It includes emotional safety, bodily autonomy, and the freedom to say no.
Respecting boundaries isn’t “ruining the holiday.”
It’s care.
We believe care is rooted in autonomy, dignity, and choice -all year round and especially during the holidays.
Let’s normalize inclusive holidays.

Last week we spent TWO whole days making spirits bright and doing holiday photo sessions for our caregivers and members! We got to give out gifts and spread some cheer with family photos for anyone who wanted to come out and participate!
