We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during the 50/50 Raffle at the Pistons game! Your helping hands can make a major impact on the lifesaving work happening every day at St. Jude.

🏀💛 At St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, we’re grateful to have incredible partners on and off the court and this season, the Detroit Pistons are truly bringing the heat.

As the Pistons take on the Memphis Grizzlies, we’re reminded how powerful teamwork can be. Both teams are helping us drive lifesaving research and give families hope, all while never receiving a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food.

🌟 Celebrating Women & Girls in Science! 🌟
Today we honor the women shaping the future of STEM — including Dr. Elizabeth Stewart, a pediatric hematologist‑oncologist at St. Jude. Inspired by the loss of a childhood friend, she now dedicates her career to caring for children with solid tumors and advancing research to create better, less toxic treatments.

Her story is a powerful reminder of why representation in science matters. When girls see women leading in labs, clinics, and research, they see what’s possible.

🧡 Madelyn’s Story of Hope

At just 5 years old, Madelyn was diagnosed with medulloblastoma. Her family’s long-time support of St. Jude came full circle when they arrived for her treatment.

With proton therapy, chemotherapy, and lots of courage, Madelyn embraced the journey—neon wigs, “bald is beautiful,” and all. She even started kindergarten at Imagine Academy, finding joy in slime projects and dress-up days.

Today, she’s thriving back home and sharing her bright spirit everywhere she goes. Her story reminds us what’s possible when care and hope come together. 🧡
