Our thoughts about the future are not facts. We do not know the future. Our thoughts about how other people are thinking and feeling are not facts. We cannot read minds. Our thoughts about ourselves are often unsupported by facts. We tend to be quite critical of ourselves.

We all need to learn to identify those thoughts and remind ourselves that they are not necessarily true.
