Shout out to Rachel, our Director of Recreation who is out in California at the Community Leaders Summit with the Alzheimer's Association due to her volunteerism within the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter! We are so proud of her & can’t wait to hear all that she brings back to our community! 💜

ALZ staff and volunteers have taken over and turned Disneyland PURPLE for our annual Community Leaders Summit! Always great to connect with fellow mission-movers and ignite the fight for the coming year. 💜

Pet therapy is easily one of our most treasured past times!

We can’t wait to see our favorite pet therapy duo tomorrow- Llew & his owner, Mary! They both bring so much joy to our residents. 🐶🐾❤️

As the Winter Olympics come to a close we held our very own “OAS Olympic Games” & boy, did we have fun!!🏅🏆

So many laughs were had, it really was fun not to take ourselves so seriously in the winter themed games we competed in together! ❄️☃️

🩸BLOOD DRIVE TOMORROW!🩸

Since our January blood drive was cancelled due to the massive snow storm a few weeks ago, The Orchards at Southington & the Connecticut Blood Center rescheduled a blood drive to Thursday, February 19th from 10:00am-4:00pm! Friends, family, & community members are welcome to donate!

Manicures, hand massages, facials, shoulder heating pads, champagne, & a chocolate fountain in the company of great friends at our Self Love Celebration… That’s definitely what love can look like in a community like ours! 💅🩷
