Position Summary:
Responsible for coordinating and assisting daily non-production and support operations of the company.

Job Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain shop supplies and shop inventory
• Maintain and manage grinding and support machinery PM schedule
• Maintain and manage subcontracting of mechanical systems (heat, plumbing, electric, etc.)
• Perform custodial duties
• Coordinate and assist the maintenance of company vehicles
• Coordinate and assist snow removal and landscape subcontractors as necessary
• Operate manlift/forklift and set up and keep track of employee training
• Maintaining and updating SDS
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Position Summary:

Work cooperatively with management, outside sales and all other personnel to grow existing customers, create new customers, and increase customer satisfaction through effective sales techniques and quality customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

* Answer incoming sales calls, emails and fax requests.

* Understand and support established sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to customers.

* Clarify and fulfill customer requests/needs by presenting various selections of products and services providing pricing information as requested.

* Emphasize saleable services of products to include quality and ability to meet customer specifications.

* Process all paperwork for orders to include sales contracts, prints and related documentation.

* Prior experience in cutting tools, metalworking or related industry is recommended.

* Knowledge of purchasing process and direct sales process recommended.

* Ability to work in a fast paced competitive industry.

* Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.

* Computer literacy required.

* Valid driver’s license

Here is your PROtip of the week!

Are you trying to decide between a bottoming tap and semi-bottoming tap? A bottoming tap (1.5P) will get you 1 more full thread in your hole.

If having full threads close to the bottom of the hole is critical, choose a bottoming tap. Otherwise, consider a semi-bottoming (2.5P) tap and gain greater tool longevity in your application.
