Best loaf yet. What a blessing to wake up next to my husband and daughter today. What a gift to have my husband provide for us, so that I can provide for him.

Today I was respectfully asked to avoid discussing politics or religion. I say respectfully, because she hasn't yet realized that every single thing about her life as an American, her life as a business owner, her freedom of speech to ASK for that - - is political. At one point in my life, I too thought that I could avoid discussing politics. But I can't. I can't refrain from discussing my faith. And shouldn't. It's so deeply engrained in everything. "Oh, you are homeschooling?" Yes, but that's a political topic. "I'm so glad we live out in the country away from everything!". Also a political topic. And my faith DRIVES my political beliefs. So if you are here for nutrition, cool. That's a homemade sourdough loaf that is infinitely healthier than any store bought bread. If you are here for nutrition but don't want politics or "religion", you might want to find someone else. I don't believe in nutrition without Jesus.

Had someone come out to quote some housework today. He said he would send quotes to Rob, and asked how soon we wanted to move forward. I said, "I don't know! Ask the boss." The contractor responded, "I thought you were the boss."

Here's the thing. Rob RUNS our home. But I keep the home running. So subtle, so much overlap, but two different things. Neither better than the other, neither can be taken for granted. Why I am sharing this? Because healthy relationships are a part of your overall health! And life is too short to be unhappy. Life is not perfect. Two people who stay together long enough are going to have bumps. But bumps aren't a good enough reason to be a jerk to your partner or your friends. How often have you stopped and thought, "why am I being mean to someone I care so much about?" I don't have time to be mean. I just want to enjoy our time together, and build each other up. Happy Healing.

For the longest time, our house was bread free. And honestly still is sometimes. I refuse to buy bread in the store. I literally won't do it, knowing my 3 year old will want to have some. Knowing it's heavily processed, loaded with sugar. Or if not. It's loaded with so many seeds and grains that block the absorption of critical nutrients her little body needs. So now I make sourdough at home. Just 4 ingredients - water, flour, salt, and a little olive oil from . We use organic flour from , which is well known to be bleach and bromate free (yep, most breads have bleach - no, not a form of bleach that's edible and safe - just bleach), and they use a slow milling process.

Learning to make sourdough has been quite an effort. Thankfully I stumbled on the second time I decided to really try it, and kept me motivated too! (The sandwich bread is amazing - but I decreased the amount of sugar and use coconut sugar). But I know my little girl is growing up seeing that food, even bread, takes work. That it's a labor of love. That I do it because I enjoy it. Enjoy knowing I'm giving her literally the cleanest bread I can. We are still animal based, for sure. We never start our morning with bread - it's only allowed (with heavy amounts of butter!) after a breakfast of ruminant meat. But gosh I'm so thankful for social media SPECIFICALLY so I could learn and tweak, and ask questions from women who have been doing the same in their homes. And yes, it's absolutely delicious!

42! Another year around the sun, full of growth. More calm, more peace, more joy. More meat, more muscle, better skin, better hair. Less sugar, less processed foods, less inflammation, less pain. I like aging!!! I feel better at 42 than I did in most of my 20s!

Welcome!

Hey There, I'm Tiffany!

When you've suffered from chronic symptoms for as long as I have, you start to question whether or not you've been doing the right things. Maybe your allergies keep getting worse. Maybe that gut issue used to flare once in a while, but now it's all the time. Maybe your migraines keep you away from your kids, your family, your friends - keep you from doing things you love.

You DON'T have to live that way. You can take your health back. And I can help you. I'm a certified Functional Nutrition Therapy Practitioner (FNTP), a Whole30 Certified Coach, and an Oncology Nutrition Consultant in training. I sat exactly where you are at today. Maybe your symptoms are different than mine, but the decision is the same. Let me help you focus on fixing root cause, instead of being one more restricting band-aid.

As an Functional Nutritionist, I'm a firm believer in a holistic approach to healing. Working with me means you receive individualized assessments completely unique to you and your body, and we'll work together to design nutrition and lifestyle recommendations aimed at helping your body heal from the inside out. There's no standard recommendation or cookie cutter approach. My goal is to identify how to best support you to meet your health goals, and educate you on how to take your health back! I take clients local to me in Southlake, TX and surrounding areas, but I also offer online services for anyone that isn't local!
