Most people think sports chiropractic is just an adjustment.

But sports medicine is a lot more than that.

At Sports and Spine Rehab Systems we combine:
• Chiropractic care
• Rehab exercises
• Soft tissue work
• Decompression
• Movement training
• And more!!

Because getting out of pain is good…
but fixing why it happened is better.

Pain isn’t the problem.
It’s the warning light. 🚨

First video:
Pain. Shallow squat. Bad movement.

Second video:
More weight.
Deeper.
No pain.

I didn’t “fix” the pain.
I fixed the pattern.

Most of the time it’s not a hardware problem.
It’s a software problem.

Stop chasing symptoms.
Address the system.

Let’s talk about this⤵️

What is Dry Needling?

Dry needling is a skilled treatment used to reduce muscle pain and improve movement.

In this video, a thin, sterile needle is placed into a tight band of muscle called a trigger point. These tight areas can cause pain, stiffness, weakness, or even pain that spreads to other areas.

You may see a small muscle twitch — that’s a normal response and a sign the muscle is reacting.

How It Works

When a muscle stays tight for too long, it can have:
• Poor blood flow
• Increased nerve sensitivity
• Limited mobility

Dry needling helps by:
• Releasing muscle tension
• Improving blood flow
• Calming pain signals
• Restoring normal movement

Who It’s For

✔️ Athletes with overuse injuries
✔️ People with chronic tightness
✔️ Neck, back, shoulder, or hip pain
✔️ Anyone dealing with restricted movement

Dry needling isn’t a standalone fix.

It’s one tool within a complete rehab plan — combined with strength work, movement retraining, and proper recovery — to decrease pain and improve performance.

Just because you’re active doesn’t mean pain should be part of the deal.

If knee pain, tightness, or nagging discomfort keeps showing up every time you train, run, or stay active, your body is trying to tell you something. Taping, icing, or pushing through might get you by for now, but it doesn’t fix what’s actually going on.

Our care is designed for real people with active lives. We focus on how your body moves, what’s causing the stress, and how to help you heal while staying active, not sidelined.

You deserve care that supports your lifestyle, not one that tells you to stop living it.

Tag a friend who’s always dealing with aches but refuses to slow down.

Or send this to someone who needs a better way to recover.

My daughter is a high school XC and track runner and was experiencing some shin pain, so we decided to go see Dr. Chapman. Turns out it was an almost stress fracture, and Dr. Chapman was able to diagnose and get her started with a rehab plan and program right away. He is super knowledgeable about running, nutrition, and all the things. His staff is excellent and so friendly, and my daughter loved working with all of them during her appointments. Would highly recommend!!’

Helping athletes stay strong and injury-free is what we’re all about! 🏃‍♀️💪 Thank you, Kristi, for trusting us with your daughter’s care. We’re so glad she’s back on track!

If you’re an athlete in Southlake, TX, pain can start small and slowly change everything. Your stride, your lifts, your confidence, even your love for the sport. Most people try to push through it until it becomes the reason they sit out.

You deserve better.

At Sports & Spine Rehab Systems, we help athletes and active people get answers, recover the right way, and build durability so you can stay available and perform at your best.

A few signs it’s time to get checked out:

✅ pain that keeps coming back

✅ tightness or stiffness that won’t go away

✅ anything that limits speed, strength, or range of motion

✅ pain that travels or includes tingling or numbness

✅ you keep taping it up just to get through practice

Tag a teammate who’s always “fine” but clearly isn’t.

If you’ve been living with back pain, neck pain, or a nagging injury, you know it’s not just physical. It affects your sleep, your mood, your workouts, and the way you show up for the people you love. You start saying no to things you used to enjoy. You learn to “work around it.” And it slowly becomes normal.

It shouldn’t.

We focus on the root cause, not just the spot that hurts. That means looking at how you move, what your body is compensating for, and what needs to change so you can actually progress.

A few signs it’s time to get answers:

✅ pain that keeps coming back

✅ stiffness after sitting or first thing in the morning

✅ pain that travels into the hip, glute, or down the leg

✅ you’re avoiding workouts, walks, or activities you love

✅ you feel unstable, tight, or “off” when you move

You deserve a plan that helps you move better and feel more confident in your body again.

If this sounds like you, you’re not alone.

Tag a friend who needs this or send it to someone who keeps saying they’ll “deal with it later.”
