Today, we broke ground on Longleaf Lodge and it felt like exactly that. Roots going down. Something real taking shape.
We are so grateful to Commissioner Boswell and every single person who showed up today to stand with us in this work. Your presence reminded us why we do this and who we do it for.
Longleaf Lodge is more than a building. It’s a place where people will find their footing, catch their breath, and begin again. We can’t wait to open these doors.

Say hello to Hannah McGee, Counselor Assistant at Longleaf Baldwin!

Hannah describes meeting people where they are as "accepting and understanding someone based on their current reality, not where you think they should be." That philosophy shows up in everything she does.

When she's not at work, she's soaking up time with family, enjoying the present moment, and apparently has a treehouse chapter in her story that she'll have to tell you about herself.

We're so glad Hannah is part of the Longleaf family. Keep an eye out as we continue spotlighting the incredible people behind our care.

Mental health professionals, we invite you to join us for The Ethics of Burnout — a 3-hour NBCC-approved CE training focused on understanding burnout through a broader, research-informed lens and learning practical strategies to prevent and manage it across clinical settings.

Participants will explore systemic contributors to burnout, ethical considerations in care, and sustainable tools to support long-term resilience in private practice, group therapy, and IOP environments.

Meet Ann Marie Meadows ( .give.live ), Outreach Coordinator at Longleaf Recovery Baldwin. In her interview with the Drug Education Council, Ann Marie shares why being a first line of defense for individuals and families facing mental health and substance use challenges means so much to her.

Her passion goes beyond programs or placements. If Longleaf is not the right fit, she is still committed to helping people find the care they truly need. That is what being “Rooted in Community” looks like to us. Recovery is not one size fits all, and sometimes all someone needs is to know who to call.
