Inherited Passions: More Than DNA 🎨📚

Some things run deeper than blood.

It’s the way my grandmother’s hymns still echo in my writing. The way my father’s hands shaped wood, and now I shape words. The way my ancestors’ resilience whispers through every brushstroke, every melody, every prayer.

Passions are not just hobbies—they’re heirlooms. Passed down in stories told by firelight, in recipes scribbled on faded index cards, in the quiet knowing that what stirred their souls now stirs mine.

I didn’t choose this path. It chose me. And I walk it with reverence.

To those who carry the flame of inherited passion—whether it’s music, ministry, medicine, or mountain lore—thank you for keeping the legacy alive. You are the living echo of those who came before.
