These are tough times that we are facing in our community and nation. At Family Vision Care, we are taking the necessary steps to keep you and our team safe.
We are taking extra precautions to thoroughly sanitize our office throughout the day and at closing. Additionally, we are dedicating some morning hours to our patients 60 years and older for added confidence in their care.
We understand that some of you may feel at risk of having to over wear your contacts. Be assured that our team can ship contacts directly to you. Also, you can order your lenses and have them shipped to your home from our website: Kowalskyfamilyvisioncare.com. If you are experiencing a problem with your eyewear, we can help you acquire a backup pair, replace or provide you with new. Simply call our office at 973-729-7755 or email us at fvcstaff@hotmail.com.
If you are running out of medication please contact us and we will call the pharmacy to fill your prescription.
If you have an issue and you are unable to come to the office, contact us and we will schedule a Duo video call app or telephone appointment.
Medicare has temporarily relaxed its telehealth rules to allow this type of communication during this pandemic crisis. Other insurances may follow suit and allow for reimbursement of virtual care costs. The consultation must be initiated at your request. If you have an ocular emergency we are, as always available to help you at anytime. Call 973-729-7755 and wait for instructions at the end of the message. Dr. Kowalsky will try his best to meet you in the office whenever possible.
Starting Friday, March 20, we will be changing our hours to 10am till 3pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Saturday is an as-needed basis.
