Dr. Anderson had the privilege of spaying a new species today - a Grumpy Worm. ☹️🐛
Post-operation we helped her build a cocoon around herself for maximum comfort and healing.

Despite Moxie’s appearance, she’s actually very happy to be here and has the best butt wiggles! 😍

🐾 You spoke, and we listened! 🐾

We’re excited to share that we’ve started implementing new dictation software in our hospital!

This means our doctors can spend less time typing and more time truly listening and focusing on you and your pet.

This new system allows us to:
- Give more face-to-face attention during appointments
- Improve efficiency with medical records
- Spend more quality time answering your questions
- Keep our focus where it belongs… on your pets!

Thank you for your feedback and for trusting us with your furry family members. We’re always looking for ways to improve your experience and provide the best care possible! 🐶🐱

Friendly Reminder:

📆Appointments📆
Just like your own doctor's office, our practice schedules appointments several weeks in advance to ensure each patient receives the time and care they deserve.
We encourage you to plan ahead when scheduling visits, especially for routine care.

💊Medication Refills💊
Please allow at least 72 hours for all prescription refill approvals.
This gives our medical team the necessary time to review your pet's records and ensure medications are safe and appropriate.

Thank you for your understanding, patience and cooperation.

Cash had his yearly teeth cleaning with us!

Did you know dogs and cats produce almost as much plaque as we do? The difference is that we brush daily to remove the plaque. When plaque is not removed, it can harden into tartar in as little as 3-5 days leading to dental disease.

With these very cold temperatures, it is important to keep livestock warm. Here are a few tips to help with that:

🍀Keep them eating. Internal heat from digestion will help keep them warm during these chilly days. High caloric foods help too!
🌾Dry bedding. Using straw in areas they sleep can help them keep their heat in. It is very important to use straw and NOT hay.
🥶Windbreaks. Give livestock an area to run in to get out of the wind and blowing snow.
💦Access to water. Ensuring they have clean, unfrozen water will help keep their digestive tract running and warm.
🐴Blankets. Horses, especially clipped or old ones, may benefit from a blanket to add an extra protective layer. However, most animals grow a thick winter coat to prepare for the cold winter temps.
