Are you sure it’s just “luck?” Or could it perhaps be YEARS of putting in the work?
Years of waking up before the butt crack of dawn.
Years of not giving up when it felt impossible.
Years of trials and errors.
Years of doing the same movement patterns and exercises.
Years of relearning what fitness truly is meant to be.
YEARS, my friend. It takes YEARS! You have to be willing to not only push yourself when you’re uncomfortable, but give yourself the time to do so, and be honest with yourself in what you are putting in.. Are you willing to do that?

The best way to get steps in by far is exploring a new place you’ve never been to. 🤘🏼

Pretty wild considering Sleepy Hollow isn’t that far from me and the story of the headless horseman is one that has fascinated me since I was a wee youth. I loved looking at all the old headstones and buildings. Seeing just how old some of them were was mind blowing. History, in general, is mind blowing. (I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that electricity wasn’t common in homes not even 100 years yet. But that’s a whole different tangent.) To think back on those times and how life was… none of us would survive. We’re too soft 🤣

Regardless, the best way to end the trip was with more walking through a glorious installation of lit up Jack-o’-lantern’s. It was so fun and so cool to look at. Not a bad way to enjoy spooky season 🎃
