I’m Greenville @ Beckwith International, our scholars stepped into the world of robotics and showed exactly what happens when preparation meets opportunity. From critical thinking to teamwork to real-time problem solving, these experiences are planting seeds that will shape futures far beyond the competition floor.

At The Allen Blash Foundation, we believe exposure creates access — and access creates confidence. When our youth can see it, touch it, and build it, they begin to believe they belong in these spaces.

This is how we normalize engineers.

🚀📚 Today was one of those “this is why we do this” kind of days.

Our After School Inspiring Minds and Teens Into Technology scholars took over the library — touring the Teen Hub, exploring new spaces, and stepping inside the planetarium to see the universe up close 🌎✨

We were also excited to have our partners from the join us after we invited them to be part of the adventure — and they showed up! That’s what real community collaboration looks like. 🤝

For some of our students, this was their first time in a planetarium. First time seeing the stars projected above them. First time realizing how big their world really is.

Moments like this build curiosity.
Curiosity builds confidence.
Confidence builds leaders. 💡

We’re not just mentoring.
We’re exposing.
We’re expanding.
We’re equipping.

Grateful for spaces that open doors and widen vision. The future looks bright — and today, it looked like stars. 🌟

This past Saturday wasn’t just a conference — it was a moment of healing.

You could feel it in the room…
The emotion. The urgency. The hope.

Watching community leaders, youth advocates, and everyday citizens sit at the same table, speak truth, and listen deeply reminded us that change starts with conversation… and continues with action.

Panels weren’t just talking — they were pouring wisdom, experience, and heart into every word. This is what it looks like when a community decides it’s tired of losing lives and ready to fight for peace together.

We’re not ignoring the violence.
We’re ending the cycle.

We’re proud to have been highlighted during Mentoring Month—not as a finish line, but as a checkpoint in the work we’re building every day.

As January comes to an end, ABF is off to an expedient start—grounded in mentorship, strengthened by partnership, and focused on long-term systems that support our youth.

Grateful for the mentors who showed up, the partners who believe in the mission, and the young people who keep us focused on what actually matters.

Today was bigger than basketball.

Huge thank you to Victor and for inviting The Allen Blash Foundation out once again and for always creating space where youth are poured into with intention. The turnout, the energy, the structure — top tier as always.

Doing this work on Martin Luther King Jr. Day matters. Dr. King didn’t just talk about change — he showed us what it looks like to serve, lead, and invest in the next generation. Events like this are how that legacy lives on.

Our youth need consistent support, positive role models, and environments that challenge them to grow on and off the court. This is meaningful, impactful work, and we’re grateful to be a part of it every time.

Shoutout to and their staff for always being an incredible host and creating a welcoming space for community-driven programming. And respect to Mayor Jerome Rice for showing up — leadership looks like presence.

ABF is always honored to stand alongside partners who are really about the work. This is what community looks like. 💙🏀✊🏽
