I’m sharing my Process Art Journaling from the Fall Equinox Mini Retreat yesterday.
I feel so nourished after the retreat, and I deeply appreciate all who attended and created such a supportive, respectful field. I love how we can Be together, yet have our own private, individual experiences.
I’m inspired to support my own deepening by committing to a quick Process Art Journaling every day, from now through Winter Solstice. Some days it may just be a 1 minute dive with my eyes closed using just a pen and notebook paper. Other days I may spend a few more minutes with markers, crayons, or the Notability app on my iPad, which is what I used in the artwork shown. Regardless of how long I spend or what media I choose, the process is the same.
Stop Thinking.
Which color do I want to use?
How does my whole body want to move my media of choice?
Repeat.
Can I not care about the outcome at all and just enjoy the process?
Can I move beyond thought, beyond good and bad, right or wrong, my own judgement…and just express from my soul?
Can my mind stop making meaning and just let the pure frequency transmission happen?
I love the opportunity to stop censoring my own expression. In this process, the journey clarifies my relationship to myself.
Please Join Me! If you do your own Process Art Journaling, I invite you to share your art or your experience.
Process Art viewers - I invite you to view other’s Process Art outside the framework of judgement about how the image looks or interpretation of what it is about. Instead, can you let the work give you a gift that’s about you?
What does it teach you about you? Is there a transmission of your own knowing that comes from it?
