🎳 Strikes, & Smiles!

Individuals from our ChesLea program had an absolute blast hitting the lanes! From cheering each other on to celebrating every spare (and yes, even those almost strikes πŸ˜‰), it was a morning full of laughter and connection.

We love getting out into the community, making memories together. πŸ’«

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Angela Jeter 🌟
Registered Nurse | Healthcare Advocate | Proud Mom

Meet Angela Jeter, RN, BSN, who will celebrate 9 years with the Charles Lea Center this August. Angela first came to CLC through an agency position, but quickly found that the welcoming atmosphere and mission of helping others made it the perfect place for her to stay. Today, she continues that mission every day through compassionate nursing and strong advocacy for the people we support. πŸ’š

Angela shares that what she enjoys most about working at CLC is sharing her nursing knowledge with staff and the individuals we serve, while also advocating for their healthcare needs. Many of the people we support cannot always speak for themselves regarding their health, so Angela works to ensure their voices are heard and they receive the proper care they deserve.
In her role as a Registered Nurse, Angela communicates with physicians, hospitals, and therapists to coordinate care and reduce healthcare disparities within the IDD community. She also audits medications, administers injections, and assesses health-related concerns to help keep individuals healthy and safe.

Angela’s educational journey reflects her commitment to nursing and growth:
β€’ Diploma in Practical Nursing – Piedmont Technical College
β€’ Associate Degree in Nursing – Greenville Technical College
β€’ Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Claflin University

Outside of work, Angela enjoys shopping and organizing her home, and spending time with her three children and her Maltipoo. 🐾
Thank you, Angela, for your dedication to the health and well-being of the people we support and for being an important part of the Charles Lea Center team! πŸ’š
