💚 Giving back feels good! 💚
Our amazing group from Charles Lea Center’s ChesLea had a wonderful time volunteering at FoodShare Spartanburg! We love being involved in our community and finding ways to give back to the place that gives us so much.

Supporting partners like FoodShare Spartanburg Ruth’s Gleanings means so much to us and it’s extra special because many of our CLC homes and staff use FoodShare boxes each month. It truly comes full circle!
We are so grateful for a community that believes in helping one another.💚

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Latasha Gentry 🌟
Clean Crew Senior Team Leader for Quality | Healthcare Professional | Proud Mom of Three

Meet Latasha Gentry, who will celebrate her 5-year anniversary with the Charles Lea Center this June! 🎉 Latasha says what she enjoys most about working at CLC is the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the individuals she serves every day by building trust and positive relationships that extend far beyond the workplace. 💚

With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, Latasha began her career working with elderly adults, which inspired her passion for supporting younger adults with special needs. In her role as Clean Crew Senior Team Leader for Quality, Latasha supports our Center Ventures contracts by working closely with supervisors and individuals, ensuring team of individuals who are working in the community have what they need and that every contract runs smoothly. She also steps in on contracts whenever coverage is needed, always making sure CLC delivers the highest quality service.

Latasha is a graduate of Broome High School and earned her CNA through Spartanburg Technical College. She also attended Spartanburg Community College, where she became a Medical Billing and Coder. This spring, she’ll begin an exciting new chapter at the University of South Carolina, pursuing her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Supervision ... a journey she’s excited to share with her family.

Outside of work, Latasha is a proud mother of three and has an 18-year-old daughter, a 16-year-old son, and a 4-year-old son. In her spare time, she enjoys making custom t-shirts, learning new techniques to perfect her craft, and creating special memories with her children through family time and vacations. ✨

💚 Thank you, Latasha, for your dedication, leadership, and the care you bring to our mission every day. We’re cheering you on and sending our very best wishes as you begin this exciting journey toward your bachelor’s degree! 🎓✨
