Our Members took a trip down memory lane to explore the colorful mind of Andy Warhol this week. 🧑‍🎨🎨 Our Activity Director, Tracy, set up a Pop Art class for our Members to test their creative expression through hands-on painting and learning. We love how these bright paintings turned out and feel like we really channeled our inner Warhol! 🍌🌈

Our sweet ladies walked into our dining room this week to enjoy their luncheon, with a little twist. 😉 Everyone was told to don their finest hats to show off their personalities to celebrate this special time together. 🧢👒🎩 We had a few who brought out their derby days attire, college game day looks, and even some characters made an appearance! 😋 These may just be hats, but for our women, it was an opportunity to dive into their friendships and make a few new ones as they shared the stories behind them. These groups are a great place for our new Members to get to know their neighbors and connect more deeply. ✨

If you visit our community, you will find yourself walking down a hallway lined with incredible art for everyone to see. 🖼️😍 This art is changed each month to highlight a new local artist. Nanette Sloan Jenkins, Artist in Spartanburg, hung her beautiful artwork on our art wall for February. To celebrate the event, we invite them to an artist reception in our community. 🍷🧀 They invite their friends and family to spend an evening with our Members to get to know everyone, while we have the opportunity to talk to them about their beautiful paintings and inspirations. ✨🎨

Friends make everything better…and we have some pretty great ones! 💛 Celebrating Friendship Friday with Members Katherine and Barbara. These ladies sparked a friendship at our wellness center about five years ago and have been staying active together ever since. You can often find them in our CLIMB class, and even enjoying each other's company at dinner and Happy Hour. There is nothing quite like their special bond! 🥂

Every hour can be happy hour, but at Summit Hills, our Thirsty Thursdays are the best ones around! 🥂 From the live music to great company, they are not to be missed! We love watching the groups of friends slowly filter into our Bistro to grab their favorite drink and take their seats. 😋🤣 The laughter and chatter start to echo all around, which is just a joy to experience! From strangers to neighbors to friends, that is what happens when you move into Summit Hills! 💚🤍💙
