The Connect Adolescent Health Initiative at the Spartanburg Regional Foundation, along with members of our training cadre, successfully completed four evidence-based trainings, equipping 22 professionals from local school districts and community organizations with tools proven to support and improve adolescent health.

The USC Upstate Women’s Club Volleyball Team spent October serving up support for patients in our community. They transformed their volleyball tournament into a powerful grassroots fundraising effort for Gibbs Cancer Center and the Cancer Special Needs Fund.

Their teamwork, leadership and commitment help ensure local patients facing cancer have access to essential resources and support services when they need them most. We’re incredibly grateful for the impact they created both on and off the court! 🏐💚

Through a series of team-building events focused on mental health awareness, Contec team members collaborated to complete 18 total canvases, culminating in three remarkable pieces:
- Rockies
- Giraffe Love
- Beach Umbrella

These vibrant works will soon brighten MGC Center for Pediatrics Spartanburg, MGC Center for Family Medicine Spartanburg and MGC Center for Pediatrics Cherokee bringing warmth and joy to the children and families we serve. 💛

The Spartanburg Regional Foundation serves a vital role in Upstate South Carolina by supporting Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and nonprofit organizations who work to address healthcare needs in the community. For more than 25 years, the Spartanburg Regional Foundation has raised money through direct contributions, sponsorships and events to support health and wellness. The Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and gives back nearly $3 million to the community every year.
