We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Morgan Strickland as our November Educational Series speaker! 🌟

An Associate Professor and Associate Program Director for Converse University’s Marriage and Family Therapy program, Dr. Strickland is a clinician, supervisor, and researcher whose work explores how technology shapes relationships, communication, and resilience. Her current research examines how violence and abuse can be perpetuated through digital spaces — and how mental health professionals can respond effectively.

On November 13, she’ll lead “Growing Up Online: How Social Media Shapes Today’s Youth,” a powerful discussion on the psychological, emotional, and social impacts of social media use among adolescents.

Join us to learn from one of the Upstate’s leading voices in family therapy and digital wellbeing.
