Many people don’t like stretching because they use too much tension. Too much tension makes stretching not fun or relaxing. Too much force causes fascia to contract and close up —when you need the fibers to open and expand.

Multi-dimensional stretching helps heal stiffness and pain.

When the stretch is slightly past your comfort zone the body, nerves, and brain learn this new range of motion is safe. The body and fascia fibers will start allowing a greater and greater range of motion over time. Regular multi-dimensional stretching increases mobility and decreases pain. The idea of no pain no gain isn’t true in most cases.

Earning back elasticity in your soft tissues should mostly feel good.
