Summer is right around the corner and I am so excited to officially open bookings for cooking classes with Prepped by Kelly Renee’s! 💕

Cooking isn’t just something I teach, it’s something I absolutely love!!

With years of experience in the kitchen and in nutrition, my heart is to help others see that healthy eating doesn’t have to feel complicated, overwhelming, bland 🤣or out of reach.

These classes are designed to be fun, hands-on, and meaningful where I will be teaching kids and teens real cooking skills, food safety, and how to create simple, kid-friendly meals they’ll actually enjoy. My goal is always the same: to make nutrition relatable, practical, and something families can carry home with them.

Today is World Health Day 🌿

And I want to have a real conversation with my people…

For so many of us, food has always been love, culture, comfort, and celebration. And there is nothing wrong with that. But somewhere along the way, we picked up habits that are costing us our health.

We’ve been taught to live to eat…
when God designed our bodies to eat to live.

High blood pressure. Diabetes. Fatigue. Inflammation.
These things didn’t just come out of nowhere — they’re often the result of what we’ve normalized at the table.

But here’s the truth I need you to hear:

It is NOT too late.
Your body CAN heal.
You CAN take control of your health.

You don’t have to give up flavor.
You don’t have to abandon your culture.
You just need a better way.

A way that nourishes your body.
A way that fuels your purpose.
A way that allows you to be here, fully present, for your family, your calling, and your future.

Start small:
Add more fruits and vegetables to your plate.
Drink more water.
Be mindful of how often you’re eating processed and fried foods.
Pay attention to how your body feels after you eat.

This is about progress, not perfection.

This World Health Day, make a decision:
“I’m choosing life. I’m choosing health. I’m choosing me.”

Because you deserve to feel good in your body — not just today, but for years to come.

Let’s do this together. 💕

Actually, who cares if you miss a day? You can start again. Maybe you didn’t get any sleep, maybe you weren’t feeling well, maybe your body was tired from working out yesterday.

Either way, extend yourself some grace even on your journey to becoming more disciplined.
