💛 Policy Update: Making Resource Pick-Up More Accessible 💛

We’re excited to share a helpful update designed to better support the families we serve in regards to who is able to pick up resources at New Beginnings starting May 1, 2026!
What’s new:
✔️ Spouses or significant others can now shop and pick up diapers/pull-ups and wipes on behalf of clients.
✔️ Clients may designate one additional trusted person to pick up diapers/pull-ups and wipes only in special circumstances (This person can pick up once per month).
✔️ Flexible scheduling options remain available, including after-hours appointments with advance notice. Call the office or send a message through our social media accounts.

A few important notes:
• All approved pick-up individuals and spouses or significant others must be listed in the client’s file.
• Please request an after-hours appointment at least 24 hours in advance.

Our goal is simple: remove barriers and make support more accessible for families when they need it most.

Several months ago when we began planning this year’s Annual Spring Tea and Bazaar we all knew my first grandbaby was due to be born on April 26th. We all knew the potential was there for her to come early and for me to be unable to attend, but I never really dreamed she actually would. She did! Georgia Marie arrived on April 14th and our family is absolutely smitten and thankful to God for this sweet little gift of life. I’m so glad I can be with my daughter and son-in-law helping them during this special time.

Many people stepped up leading up to the Tea and this weekend BIG TIME, in general and in my absence. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single person who had any part at all helping us host such an amazing fundraising event! I would love to list every single person, church, organization and business, but I would surely miss someone. I have been receiving calls and messages all afternoon with nothing but high accolades for how everything turned out!

I’m already looking forward to attending next year’s Ice Cream Social themed Spring Tea with my daughter and granddaughter!! 🍦

We wanted to let you know that New Beginnings will be closed the week of Spring Break, March 16-20. We'll be open on Thursday, March 12 and will reopen on Monday, March 23rd!
