1. What drew you to tarot to begin with?
When i was about 14 a friend of mine introduced me to a lot of esoteric interests and that's when i recieved my first deck. I loved the story telling of the cards and how they each had their own depths and complexities. At first it was like a puzzle and then it became a meditative process of its own
2. Is tarot reading your main source of income?
Its my secondary
3. If tarot reading is NOT your main source of income, why are you charging people?
Surprisingly more people came in once i put a price tag on it. I used to do it solely for free but hardly anyone came in. By just putting a $5 price on it, people started flooding in with more excitement. No idea why lol
4. What is your intention behind reading for others?
Just like i was shown when i was younger, its fun to show others new things. Like teaching a cooking class or yoga, helping others check out new hobbies is cool
5. How do you balance intuition with the traditional meaning of the cards?
I always explain the traditional meaning of the cards individually and then what the message could mean as a whole. my intuition is moreso looking for which card or aspect resonants most with the person im reading for and taking that opportunity to dive more into why these cards are there for them. How i feel matters very little, I understand the cards and i understand their meanings and messages but they do not change because i may be feeling a vibe or something.
6. Do you offer any follow up resources or integration tips?
I have decks for sale and offer free consultation on how to read them. I have also hosted classes in the past
7. How do you emphasize client empowerment?
At the end of the day, only you will know the true meaning of your message from the cards. Its what i tell people every time, tarot is basically a mirror to your subconscious. Its showing you something you're needing to hear and a pathway you need to focus on by removing fears, anxieties, or bias. You most likely already know what you need to hear but sometimes we just need that unbiased third party to make it clear.
