As the Owner and main therapist at Breaking Illusions, I provide in-person mental health services in Spencer and the surrounding areas. I enjoy working with individuals, adolescents, and families.

💙🩵A note from Dr Lee and Dr Leah:

Early this summer Dr. Lee had been experiencing some mild lightheadedness during and after exercise and intense activity. Through exams, tests, and imaging it was discovered that he had developed a serious heart condition (persistent atrial fibrillation and tachycardia-induced cardiomyopathy that led to acute decompensated heart failure once he began rate control medication). He has been working with several experts at North Central Heart in Sioux Falls to get things stabilized and it remains a work in progress. While we are hoping for a full recovery we understand that it may just be partial and that this condition is prone to recurrences. He is currently back in sinus rhythm and recovering from an ablation procedure done this week. He is hoping and planning to return to the clinic next week.

We are grateful for all the support we've received from family, staff, friends, and patients.

Thank you for your patience while he and Dr. Leah have been out of the office quite a bit recently.
