🍓🥤 Sweet smiles all around! 🥤🍓

Our residents had a wonderful time enjoying delicious strawberry milkshakes today! From the first sip to the last, it was all smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of sweetness.

Moments like these are what it’s all about—simple treats, great company, and making memories together. 😋💕

💪 Getting moving and having fun with Carreghan! 💪

Our amazing PTA, Carreghan, has been doing a wonderful job getting residents involved and engaged in therapy sessions. With her encouragement and positive energy, residents are staying active, building strength, and gaining confidence every day.

From guided exercises to plenty of smiles and laughter along the way, it’s clear that therapy can be both effective and enjoyable! We’re so proud of our residents for their hard work and grateful for team members like Carreghan who make it all possible. 🌟

🍳 We’re back in action with Cooking with Kendra! 🍳

Our residents were excited to get back into the kitchen, rolling up their sleeves and having fun creating something delicious together. From mixing and measuring to sharing stories and laughs, it was a wonderful time filled with connection and creativity.

There’s nothing better than the joy of cooking—and of course, enjoying the tasty results! 😋 We love seeing our residents stay active, engaged, and inspired.

✨ The excitement is building as our residents prepare for the Geri Olympics! ✨

Therapy and Activities have teamed up to create fun and engaging obstacle courses that challenge balance, coordination, and strength—all while keeping the focus on laughter and friendly competition. From weaving through cones to reaching, tossing, and navigating creative stations, our residents are showing determination, teamwork, and plenty of spirit! 💪🏅

It’s been wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another and having so much fun staying active. We’re so proud of their hard work and can’t wait to watch them shine on the big day! 🌟

We are so excited to share the impact of our recent Food Drive! 🥫💛

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we were able to collect and distribute several items to blessing boxes throughout Spencer and Walton. Donations were placed at the chapel in Gandeeville, the box across from Poca Valley Bank in Walton, St. John’s Methodist Church, and the Roane County Library—helping make sure food is available to neighbors who need it most.

It’s truly amazing to see what can happen when a community comes together with kindness and compassion. Every single donation made a difference, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you who contributed.

Thank you for helping us spread a little extra care and support throughout our community. 💕

Stephanie showed up with her very important assistants — her geese — and let’s just say, they completely stole the spotlight! Residents were laughing, smiling, and maybe even trying to sneak one into their room (we’re still doing a headcount 👀).

There were honks, waddles, and plenty of “well I’ve never seen THAT here before!” moments. The geese were quite the celebrities, and honestly, we think they knew it.

A big thank you to Stephanie for bringing so much joy, laughter, and a little bit of farmyard chaos to our day. Who knew therapy could include feathered friends and comedy all in one? 🥰

Same time next week, Stephanie? We’ll roll out the red carpet 🪿✨

Our residents had a wonderful time getting creative with Kaitlyn, our amazing Activities Director! From colorful designs to unique handmade creations, the room was filled with laughter, creativity, and lots of smiles. 🖌️💛

Our residents enjoyed a deliciously sweet treat at Miletree—caramel milkshakes! 🥤🍯💛

There’s nothing like a creamy, caramel-filled treat to bring smiles all around. From the first sip to the last, it was clear these milkshakes were a hit! Lots of happy faces, sweet moments, and a little extra joy added to the day.

What a day at Miletree! 🏁♿😂

We hosted some very competitive wheelchair races—and let’s just say, things got intense! We had residents vs. residents, staff vs. staff, and the ultimate showdown: residents vs. staff. Everyone brought their A-game, and there were plenty of laughs, cheers, and a little friendly trash talk along the way!

Our residents showed off some serious skills (and maybe a bit of a competitive edge 👀), while staff gave it their best shot… emphasis on tried. By the end of it all, we may or may not have discovered that a few of our managers could benefit from a “rehabilitation referral” after those performances 🤭

All jokes aside, it was a fantastic time filled with joy, laughter, and great memories. We love moments like these at Miletree! 💙
