Last night we enjoyed our first Geelan Funeral Home Christmas party! We shared great food, lots of laughs, and George loved his new red wagon! We are so grateful for our amazing team!

Larry Dean Zwemke, age 87, of Spencer, Iowa, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

You may notice that construction is still ongoing on this road. However, our entryway is accessible from the usual entrance off the highway, and you can enter as normal. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Due to ongoing road construction, 4th Ave SE is currently inaccessible. For the time being, please use the turn by Spencer Chiropractic (10th Street SE) until the construction is completed. You can pull into our parking lot from the back way. The road is expected to reopen within the next day or two. Thank you for your understanding.

Jon does 3D printing and helps create a way for families to take a picture(s) and create a memory keepsake!

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Hoffman family.
They are deeply devastated by the sudden and unexpected loss of Kyle Hoffman, age 44, of Emmetsburg. The family appreciates your support as they navigate this tremendous loss.
