What a wonderful day celebrating the Grand Opening of Geelan Funeral Home! Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it extra special. A heartfelt thank-you to Glenn Henrickson and Father Paul Kelly for the beautiful live music, to Pastor Paul Kaldahl for offering a meaningful blessing over our funeral home, to Teresa Stueben for the delicious desserts, and to the Spencer Chamber of Commerce/Ambassadors for the ribbon cutting. We also want to extend our thanks to our families and staff for all their hard work and dedication in making this day run smoothly. We’re truly grateful for all the support and look forward to serving families throughout the surrounding communities.

We had such a great visit with Jade and Alana, hospice nurses with Avera at Home of Spencer Hospital.

They took some time to share what hospice care is really about — focusing on comfort, support, and quality of life for both patients and families.

They do a great job of providing care and compassion to families in our community.
