Excuse us while we swoon over this beautiful new FRC family member. 😍

There is something incredibly special about walking alongside a mama through her entire pregnancy, and then finally getting to meet the baby she’s been growing for nine months.

The mama of this beautiful little was under chiropractic care her entire pregnancy.

As her body changed and adapted, we focused on supporting her nervous system so her body could function the way it was designed to.

Pregnancy isn’t something you need to simply “get through.” It’s a powerful process that asks a lot of a woman’s body. Posture shifts. Ligaments soften. Hormones fluctuate. Sleep changes. Stress rises.

Chiropractic care during pregnancy helps the body adapt with more ease. When the nervous system is supported, the brain and body communicate better, and everything works more efficiently.

Now we get to welcome this sweet little one into the Family Roots family. 🤍

To the mamas who are on the fence:

Your body was designed to grow and birth a baby.
You deserve support while you do it.
You don’t have to wait until something hurts to take care of yourself.

It is one of the greatest honors of what we do to watch healthy, supported mamas grow healthy babies.

Eight. Whole. Years. 🤍

In the middle of our crazy day of celebrations yesterday, these beautiful flowers were delivered to us from a patient, given in honor of our 8th birthday. And honestly, it made us pause and realize how truly and incredibly blessed we are.

Eight whole years since we opened our doors.
Eight years of showing up. On great days and hard days.
Eight years of learning, growing, adapting, and caring for beautiful families in this community.

These years have absolutely flown by, but they have been filled with SO much purpose. With people trusting us in vulnerable moments. With families allowing us to be part of their lives, their healing, their growth, and their stories.

We are incredibly grateful. And as cliché as it may sound, so very blessed.
Blessed to do work that makes a difference.
Blessed to serve a community that truly feels like family.
Blessed to be supported by patients, friends, and families who have believed in us from day one and every day since.

This milestone doesn’t just belong to us. It belongs to every single person who has walked through our doors, referred a friend, shared our name, trusted our care, or cheered us on along the way.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making these 8 years possible.
We don’t take a single day, or a single person, for granted. We love every single one of you wholeheartedly.

🎉 Family Roots turns 8 today. 🎉

Eight years ago, Family Roots Chiropractic was just an idea and a whole lot of hope.

A hope that there could be a place where families felt seen. Where kids felt at home exactly as they are. Where moms didn’t have to explain themselves or beg for answers. Where healing wasn’t rushed and people weren’t treated like numbers.

Today, we turn eight. And this place is so much more than a business.

It’s newborns being adjusted for the first time while parents hold their breath and then exhale in relief for the fieat time. It’s kids racing to the door because this office feels safe and familiar amd never wanting to leave. It’s parents who came in overwhelmed, exhausted, and hurting, and slowly found trust in themselves again. It’s conversations that matter. Trust that’s been built. Relationships that go far beyond appointments.

Family Roots exists because of the people who walk through our doors. Because of the families who trust us with their health. Because of the ones who show up week after week, year after year, and make this place what it is.

Eight years of growth. Eight years of learning. Eight years of caring for this community.

Welcome to our Page! Here is a little about me, Dr. Ashley.

Health at an Early Age

I consider myself a home-grown farm girl. I am originally from Belgrade, MN where I grew up on an organic dairy farm. Yes, I know how to drive a tractor, milk cows, throw little square bales, and pick rocks. Growing up on an organic dairy farm absolutely contributed to my health-filled lifestyle. Not only did we get to eat fresh organic veggies out of the garden and were able to play outside for countless hours. As an infant, I was colicky. From infancy through adulthood, I have experienced the positive outcomes and benefits of getting adjusted and living a vibrant health-filled life. I love what chiropractic has done for me and my family and cannot wait to share it with you!

Advanced Education & Memberships

I completed my pre-chiropractic studies at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND before continuing on to Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU) in Bloomington, MN. I graduated from NWHSU with my Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelors of Science in Human Biology. Because I have a strong passion in whole family health and wellness, I completed all of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) classes and am certified to perform the Webster Technique.

I am an active and proud member in the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), Forest Lake Chamber of Commerce, and Eagle Brook Church – Lino Lakes, MN.

Outside the Office

As you get to know me, you will come to find that family is my number one priority! Spending time with my hubby, Tyler and little man, Henry is my ultimate favorite along with each of our extended family members. I love to do yoga, meditate, and dig in the garden (if the mosquitoes aren’t horrible). Ty and I also love helping on the farms where we grew up on. We help drive tractor, ride around in the Ranger, or just be outside. Another happy place for me is being outside with a cup of coffee and a great book. Self-development, financial, business, and relationship books are my favorite. The lakes of Minnesota treat us awesome, as I love to go boating and fishing, especially on Upper Red Lake.
