🎄 Friendly holiday scheduling reminder! 🎄

This week is our last full week in the office before the holidays.

We will be open Monday and Tuesday, 12/22 & 12/23, and then closed through the New Year.

We will reopen Friday, 1/2.

We have limited appointment spots remaining on Monday and Tuesday next week, so if you are hoping to get in before the break, please reach out soon. We would love to see you before the holidays!

There is so much hope and love in this photo that is such a beautiful reminder of why we show up for families the way we do.

This mama on the left came to us around 30 weeks pregnant with a breech baby and a whole lot on her heart. She walked in hoping for answers, support, and hope. She trusted us with such a beautiful part of her journey, and we are honored every time.

In her review, she shared how the Webster technique helped her daughter turn head down during her pregnancy. How her delivery went smoothly. How she felt welcomed, cared for, and supported every time she stepped into this space. But more than anything, she talked about feeling safe. Seen. Held. She talked about finding comfort and friendship during one of the most vulnerable seasons of her life.

And now here she is, standing in our office again. One arm around her growing toddler. Another beautiful baby in Ashley’s arms. A full story of trust, care, and connection all in one picture.

If you are a mom who feels unsure or overwhelmed or worried about your pregnancy, your baby, or your body, please know. You are not alone. There is hope. There is support. There are people who will walk beside you and help you feel steady again.

What if one little girl’s story could remind every parent that progress is possible, even when it feels so far away.

Ollie’s journey does exactly that.

At just two years old, she had already been surrounded by an incredible team of professionals. OT, PT, speech, pediatric physical medicine specialists, chiropractors. She worked hard and made progress, but eventually everything seemed to stall. Her parents worried she was in pain and not reaching her full potential.

Then her physical therapist gently said, “Try Family Roots.”

From the moment they arrived, her family noticed how thorough the evaluation was. The scans helped them finally understand what Ollie’s nervous system had been holding onto. Her mom said the scans were so important because they could actually see her progress instead of guessing.

And then the shifts began.

Just two months into care, her physical therapist was blown away. Ollie’s body moved differently. She was more flexible. Calmer. No longer stuck in that constant state of extension and stress. Her whole little system was beginning to regulate.

And with that regulation came milestones that once felt so far away.

Rolling on a ball. Somersaults. Running. Going up and down stairs. Balancing on one leg.
Simple things for some kids. Life changing for Ollie.

“I left feeling welcome, heard, and hopeful. I probably needed that most of all.”

That sentence came from a patient who, just a few months before, felt completely stuck in her health. She told us she had hit the late forties, tried Keto, fasting, eating less and moving more, and nothing changed. Her labs were “normal.” Her symptoms were dismissed. Most nights she was on the couch by 6:00 because she felt like she did not have much life left after work.

She quietly started to believe, “This is just how it’s going to be.”

After watching a few of Dr. Ashley’s videos, she booked a free consult with low expectations. She did not fully trust anyone could help, but she came anyway. And in that conversation, something clicked. Someone finally listened. Someone explained what was actually happening. She said the plan was clear, concise, and realistic, and it finally made sense.

She started her protocol and admitted she felt a little overwhelmed at first, but she also felt hopeful. Within the first month, her energy shifted. By month two and three, her weight began to drop, her strength returned, and her confidence came back. She said she started feeling like her old self again.

These photos capture one of the most meaningful parts of what we do here at Family Roots.

A baby completely at ease.
A nervous system that feels safe.
A moment where comfort, trust, and connection all meet.

When little ones come in holding tension, discomfort, or stress in their bodies, they aren't able to tell us with words. They show us through their sleep, their digestion, their movement, their moods. Their nervous system carries and tells it all.

Gentle pediatric chiropractic care helps release that stress so their bodies can settle.
When their nervous system calms, everything else follows.

Welcome to our Page! Here is a little about me, Dr. Ashley.

Health at an Early Age

I consider myself a home-grown farm girl. I am originally from Belgrade, MN where I grew up on an organic dairy farm. Yes, I know how to drive a tractor, milk cows, throw little square bales, and pick rocks. Growing up on an organic dairy farm absolutely contributed to my health-filled lifestyle. Not only did we get to eat fresh organic veggies out of the garden and were able to play outside for countless hours. As an infant, I was colicky. From infancy through adulthood, I have experienced the positive outcomes and benefits of getting adjusted and living a vibrant health-filled life. I love what chiropractic has done for me and my family and cannot wait to share it with you!
