Spindale Drug not only specializes in dispensing traditionally manufactured medications but also offers home medical equipment, administering vaccines and med sync. In today's world, most pharmacies have slipped into a business as usual model. We've decided that our position as a local pharmacy isn't going to be the usual. Spindale Drug has taken a step back from the mentality of measuring success by the number of customers who come through our checkout. The term "pharmacy" comes from the root "pharma" which was actually used during the 15th-17th centuries. In addition to pharma responsibilities, the pharma offered general medical advice and a range of services that are now performed solely by other specialist practitioners. Spindale Drug Company has been serving Spindale and surrounding areas since 1925, and is well known for there attention to personal care. Spindale, in Rutherford County, North Carolina. It serves Rutherford County and surrounding counties in Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina. It is locally owned and operated by pharmacists Bill Koonce and Lesley Koonce. With over 42 years of combined experience in retail and long-term care practice, we strive to be an innovative leader in every area of our endeavors. It could be coming in to pick up your monthly prescriptions or meeting with your friends or coworkers for a homemade sandwich or salad at the Spinning Bean Café and Coffee Shop. Spindale Drug not only specializes in dispensing traditionally manufactured medications but also offers prescription compounding. As a member of PCCA, Spindale Drug Co. offers customers a more personalized approach to receiving their medication, and strengthens the customer-physician-pharmacist relationship which is very important. Another service Spindale Drug Co. offers its patients is the Home Health Care division. The Home Health Care division specializes in meeting patients Durable Medical Equipment needs. We offer a wide range of products in every category of home health care products, from mobility needs, to bathroom safety, to diabetic items such as shoes, foods, and monitors. also specializes in insurance billings for these home health care items, assisting and training the patient in every manner possible. We also offer our Pills on Wheels prescription delivery program. It is a program to increase medication compliance and to make the lives of our customers easier. We work with our patients to have a single date every month on which to fill all of their prescriptions. On that day every month, we will automatically fill all prescriptions and deliver them to their house or office free of charge.

Spindale Drug is open today until 6pm. Open tomorrow, Wednesday December 24th from 9-12, closed December 25th, and will be open Friday from 9-4 as well as Saturday from 9-1.
