I am all about education and empowerment on your journey into motherhood.

Knowing and understanding the process of labor and delivery and all of the different scenarios and options that you may encounter along the way can help you feel so much more prepared.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? ......Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do..... It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

One year ago today, I supported my very first clients of Spokane Prenatal Massage. I can not believe how fast the last 12 months have gone by.

I am honored to have supported so many amazing souls through their pregnancy and postpartum journeys and to have walked alongside so many of you as you have boldly stepped into your new life as a mother. It has been truly beautiful to witness such a transformation.

I am grateful for all of the support that I have received from each and every one of you. I am so grateful that you have allowed me into your life during such a pivotal time to support you along the way.

I am so proud to be a part of something that is so much bigger than myself. Spokane Prenatal Massage has allowed me to make an impact in the lives of others in my community and it feels so good to be making a difference for you in how you feel both physically and mentally/emotionally.

From one Mom to another...THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! 💜

Here's to the next 12 months! 🥳🎉

What an amazing year of big changes for all of us. Many of you welcomed your first child into your life. Some of you added another sibling.

Take a moment to look back at how you've grown (figuratively, that is) over the last 365 days. Be proud of everything you've accomplished.

Happy New Year! 🎆 What are you most looking forward to in 2023?

Merry Christmas from my family to you and yours!

One of my favorite things about Christmas is getting our calendars for the next year from my Aunt. They are filled with all of our birthdays, anniversaries, and pictures from the current year.

They bring back so many memories, big and small, of things I otherwise may have forgotten, like.... one of my boys in the heat of summer, sitting in his lawn chair in the back yard, directly in the water mister with his goggles on. 😂 He didn't have a care in the world in that moment. ❤

It's amazing to look back and see just how much each of my kids has changed in such a short 12 months.

What is your favorite thing about the holidays or any special traditions that you have?

One out of three women would describe their birth as traumatic.

Your feelings toward your birth experience are valid, whatever they are.

As I sat with a postpartum client this week, debriefing about her labor and birth, she could no longer hold back the tears as they began to openly flow from her tired eyes. This was the first time since giving birth that she was able to actually express what had happened and feel validated in her feelings and emotions.

The reality is, she is not the only one who has sat in that chair and shared her traumatic story with me and I'm sure she will not be the last. I will continue to hold space for you to feel safe to share and feel whatever you need to feel.

Your feelings are valid.

Please reach out if you need any resources or someone to talk to regarding your experience.
