Mental health impacts everything.
Your energy. Your body. Your relationships. Your ability to cope with life.

Our minds and bodies are constantly working together to keep us balanced. When mental health is struggling, physical health often reflects that too. Tension, exhaustion, anxiety, shutdown. None of it happens in isolation.

In a post Covid world, more people are finally recognizing that connection. Talk therapy, medication, hypnosis, and intentional self care are becoming less stigmatized and more normalized. And the truth is, these tools are powerful on their own and even more effective when used together.

Most people have a good understanding of talk therapy and daily self care habits. Where hypnosis can be especially helpful is accessing the deeper layers that are not always available through conscious conversation alone.

Hypnosis creates a deeply relaxed state that allows the subconscious mind to become more accessible. This can be incredibly supportive for mental health work, especially when someone knows they are struggling but cannot fully identify the root cause.

For example, someone with trauma may understand the general source of their symptoms, but specific memories or emotional details may be blocked as a form of protection. That protection can be helpful in the short term, but it can also make healing feel stuck when the root cannot be accessed.

When talk therapy and hypnosis are used together, we are able to gently uncover the origin of patterns and reactions and then process them in a healthy, supported way.

Self care has become trendy.
But confidence does not come from bubble baths and aesthetic routines alone.

Over the last decade, self care has gone mainstream. Social media shows us beach days, face masks, perfectly curated routines, and sticky note affirmations on mirrors. And while those things can feel nice, they often only scratch the surface.

If you have tried to think more positively about yourself but feel stuck

There is a reason.

Low self confidence and harsh self talk are rarely random. They are often shaped by early experiences, feedback from family and peers, and years of absorbing unrealistic standards from media and culture. “You just need to love yourself.”
We’ve all heard it.
But what if loving yourself isn’t the only thing you need?

What if you also need to like yourself?

Because liking yourself is different.

When you like yourself, you actually want to spend time alone. You enjoy your own company. You trust your own decisions. You don’t constantly need to escape yourself.

It’s kind of like family. You can love someone deeply… and still not always like being around them.

So if loving yourself feels like a stretch right now, maybe the goal isn’t “I’m obsessed with myself.”
Maybe, just maybe, it’s softer.

Maybe it’s:
“I’m learning to enjoy who I am.”
“I’m becoming someone I like hanging out with.” “I’m allowing my quirks, not fighting them.”

Sometimes liking yourself is the bridge. And love grows from there.

Today isn’t just about romance.

It’s about your relationship with the one person you spend every single day with.

A comment. A look. A conversation that should not have hit that hard
But it did

You knew the reaction was bigger than the moment, yet you couldnt stop it.

This is something we see all the time, and it has a name. Emotional resonance.
When old emotions from the past get activated in the present.

Most of the time, those emotional echoes come from childhood.

Before the age of 8, our subconscious mind is wide open. We are absorbing experiences and forming beliefs about ourselves, other people, and the world. Those beliefs can quietly shape our adult lives in powerful ways.

Fear of rejection...Perfectionism...Self doubt...Feeling not enough...Feeling unseen or unheard.

These patterns often trace back to childhood experiences that were never fully processed.

This is what inner child healing is about.

Your inner child holds early memories, emotions, and unmet needs. When those wounds are left unaddressed, they can show up later in relationships, self worth, and emotional reactions.

Inner child healing helps us identify old belief systems that no longer serve us and reframe those beliefs with compassion. Learn how to reparent ourselves with safety, care, and understanding.

For example:

We are already a couple months into 2026, and I want to share something that matters.

You do not need to start the year perfectly for it to be intentional.

Instead of resolutions, I have always loved choosing a single word to guide the year. One word that becomes a compass rather than a checklist.

My word for 2026 is Connection.

Connection with ourselves.
Connection with our nervous systems.
Connection with others in a way that feels safe, honest, and real.
And connection through community, not isolation.

After years of focusing on grounding, healing, and personal growth, this year feels like an invitation to lean toward each other. To remember that we are not meant to do life alone. To build spaces where people feel seen, supported, and less overwhelmed by the world.

A word of the year is powerful because it evolves with you. It meets you where you are instead of demanding you be somewhere else. Some days connection looks like deep conversation. Other days it looks like rest. Boundaries. Slowing down. Letting yourself be human.

I check in with my word often by asking simple questions:
Where am I disconnecting from myself?
Where can I soften and reach out?
What kind of community do I want to help create?

This year I am focusing less on doing more and more on being present. On building spaces that feel grounding, supportive, and real. On connection that goes deeper than surface level and honors where people actually are.

You don't wake up wanting to lose your temper. And yet it keeps happening.

For some people it builds slowly like pressure in the chest. For others it shows up fast and loud with no warning. One moment you're fine. The next moment you're snapping, shutting down, or feeling ashamed of what just happened.

Anger is not the problem. Anger is information.

Most of the time what looks like out of control anger is actually a nervous system stuck in survival mode. Unprocessed stress. Old trauma. Emotional overload. Your body reacting before your rational mind has a chance to step in.

Week 4 of our Heart-Centered Wellness Campaign!
~Intuitive Eating~

Our bodies are truly remarkable. Not only does your body regulate your body temperature and keep your heart pumping, but it also does all of this and more without having to direct our thoughts to these things to keep us alive. Our body also tells us when we are hungry. But, do you know when you are hungry? Most of us have lost intuition when we are truly hungry. This may have started when you were just a child and were forced to eat everything on your plate before you could play! Or maybe your body's wisdom has been confused from all the diets you’ve tried in the past. I am here to share with you something: you no longer have to be a member of the empty plates club or need to follow a strict diet. Intuitive eating uses your body's wisdom to decide when and how much food to eat. Here are some intuitive eating tips to get back in tune with your body's natural clock.

1. Dish up half of what you would normally eat! You can only go back for seconds.

2. Eat at the same place in your house. Preferably not in front of the TV! This reduces snacking out of boredom.

3. DONT EAT IN FRONT OF THE TV OR WHILE LOOKING AT YOUR PHONE! We can become conditioned and it’s a hard habit to break.

4. Eat within 30 minutes of being hungry. Do this by keeping healthy snacks with you, such as peanuts or an apple. If we are hungry and wait too long to eat we become prone to overeating.
