Founded in 1973 by Nurse Practitioner Pioneers Carol Rudy, PNP as well as Joann Halstead and Denise Greear, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners. NPGS continues to grow it’s membership, collaborative spirit and commitment to promoting excellence in our field. The first NPGS annual conference was March 20, 1987 and NPGS has recommitted to hosting an Annual Spring Workshop. NPGS also shares a passion in professional development and continues to encourage and acknowledge Nurse Practitioner students through the Carol Rudy Scholarship program. NPGS is a welcoming group of advanced practice providers and welcomes you to become a member and invite a colleague.
