"Due to COVID-19 we will continue seeing patients on a reduced basis. Masks are required for any patient over the age of 12 and any adult accompanying the patient. Please bring your own mask or face covering to the appointment to be worn the entire time you are in our office.
In addition, we will continue to limit the number people accompanying a patient to one adult. Please reschedule if you are sick or have had contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.”

Due to COVID-19 we will be seeing only urgent and emergent conditions.

We are relying on you to communicate to us any urgent needs. One of our physicians is always on call to take care of any serious concerns that may arise. To reach the doctor on call, dial (509)838-6686. In addition, we have MWF office hours 8:30-3:00 pm. Please call us MWF at (509)838-6686 to reach our staff for any non urgent issues.

We will review all patient charts due for an appointment during this unique time of social distancing. Some visits can be delayed without concern. We will be in touch in the near future to reschedule your child’s routine visit. More urgent eye conditions may still require an office visit or one of our newly offered telehealth appointments.

TeleHealth
Virtual visits with one of our doctors are now available for many of our patients. If your child meets criteria for a virtual visit, our staff will reach out by phone to schedule and provide more information. These visits will be conducted via smartphone or tablet using Doxy.me. Please confirm with your insurance provider that telemedicine visits are covered under your policy. We ask that you review the Telemedicine Acknowledgment form prior to the appointment.
Please check in to your virtual appointment 5 minutes prior to your appointment time using the following links for your doctor.

Dr Caroline Shea was featured on KXLY last night after performing emergency surgery on a child who was struck in the eye by a falling icicle.

A 10-year-old girl was staring at an icicle when it fell and punctured her eye, according to a Spokane ophthalmologist.

So proud of Lexi! Very impressed with Dr Nye too. What a story!

So proud of Lexi! Very impressed with Dr Nye too. What a story!

Watching Lexi Weller perform a floor exercise, her athleticism, strength and speed are on full display. What’s not evident is that she can’t see out of one eye.

We love you Charlie! Glad to be part of the team!
