moving in and through you
Is always working towards your freedom.

It doesn’t mean life is easy.
Or that you will understand why
things happen the way you do.

It means you know who you are.
Why you are here.
And that you are a part of life’s creative forces,
not adjacent to or ruler over.

Let’s bring joy back into the work that we do. A fear of failure and imperfection stifles our curiosity and playfulness and adds to making work feel like a chore and a burden.

Your mission is not just about what you sell or produce…it’s how you are showing up to serve in the world. This is reverent and sacred purpose…regardless of what industry you’re in. That doesn’t mean we don’t bring joy and playfulness into it.

Do you know what your purpose is and what the mission of your work is? Do they support each other? Do you have clarity in all the decisions you make? Because you can.

Mission statements are not just for businesses. I speak with entrepreneurs, board members, and visionaries all the time about the value of having a living, breathing mission statement but this is a message for every single one of us. It’s not exclusive to one particular group of people.

Your job, no matter what it is, matters. Who you are in that work matters. You’re not supposed to be living life in silos. One person at home, another at work, another with your kids or partner or friends.

How do you know what you’re meant to be doing? There is no magic formula or quiz you can take. There’s not a 5 Steps to Living a Purpose-Driven life. There’s not a quick fix to this. It takes time. It requires honesty. And it helps to ask these questions and discover those answers inside yourself if you have a coach/guide/mentor alongside you.

Get aligned in yourself. Get clear. That is how you become strong enough to hold growth and expansion.

When your mission is clear, you stop drifting. Every step has intention. Energy isn’t wasted.

When your vision is embodied, you stop forcing. You can drop the hustle. You surrender. There is flow.

When your values are lived, trust is built both internally and externally.

We’re doing something different over here. It’s time to and the old ways of “doing business as usual” and step into the truth within us.

And P.S., this is not a solo journey. Don’t believe the myth that entrepreneurship is done without community. It’s not “lonely at the top” when we’re all standing there together, arms linked in support.

This work isn’t for the faint of heart. It takes great courage to chart a path into unknown territory but that’s why we’re meant to do it together. The way through to a new paradigm is together.
