Meet Alex Gates, a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) who has been serving the Spokane area since 2008. Alex specializes in lower extremity prosthetics and orthotics, with a focus on elevated vacuum sockets for wound healing and elite prosthetics and orthotics for para-athletes.
Alex finds it incredibly rewarding to witness the transformation patients undergo throughout their rehabilitation and as they meet their goals. "When you meet a patient who is going through the difficult transition of losing a leg or struggling with their current prosthesis, it’s an incredible opportunity to have a meaningful impact on someone’s life and improve every step they take after that."
In addition to her dedication to her patients, Alex has a deep love for the Spokane community, where she is raising her four kids. Outside of work, the family enjoys skiing, camping, traveling, and spending time with their three-legged dog, Skipper.
