The room was beautifully set for an amazing event celebrating the unique personalities of our beloved residents. Ballots were handed out for a variety of fun categories, building excitement for the big reveal.
The grand ceremony finally arrived, with the red carpet rolled down the aisle, trophies gleaming, and champagne flowing. Our Life Enrichment Director, Carine, masterfully MC’d the event, guiding everyone through the afternoon with warmth and enthusiasm.
Our chef, Michelle, delighted everyone with a beautiful sampler of hors d’oeuvres, while her servers—elegantly dressed in evening gowns—circulated the room offering drinks and tasty bites. Each winner was graciously escorted to the red carpet and podium to receive their golden award.
Behind the scenes, our nurse, Ingrid, stepped into the role of photographer, capturing every smile and special moment, while Barb, our Marketing Director, traded her pen for curling irons and brushes, ensuring our residents looked perfectly styled and ready for such an exquisite evening.
In total, fifteen residents were honored, all beaming with joy as they accepted their awards from fellow residents here at South Hill Village. The afternoon was filled with music from classic Broadway favorites and concluded with a fun snapshot in the photo booth as residents made their way down the red-carpeted staircase—bringing a glamorous and unforgettable celebration to a perfect close.
