Numbing for a Microneedling Treatment is an important part of the process to keep you as comfortable as possible during your treatment.

Microneedling uses stainless steel needles to create an intentional micro injury to the skin. This wound sends healing receptors in the integumentary system (the skin) - starting the healing process.

The healing process involves four key stages:
•hemostasis
•inflammation
•proliferation
•remodeling

Immune cells (white blood cells, macrophages) protect against infection, while blood vessels deliver oxygen and nutrients to rebuild tissue.

The rebuilding process is where new skin emerges, looking smoother, healthier, and more youthful.

Microneedling has some pre and post service instructions, with aftercare being an essential part of the desired result.

Remember, estrogen levels drop during menopause. And so does our collagen and elastin, as well as the slowing down of our oil production. This means that the number 1 problem women face during menopause with their skin is DRYNESS.
