I’m committed to a full body approach for injury care and prevention that is specific to you.
So naturally I went and got a certification that supports this value 😁 im excited to say I am now also a CES (corrective exercise specialist)!
:
What does this mean?
I am able to assess your full body posture and movement patterns to see if there is 1. A pattern that may lead to injury or pain in the future and 2. Discover the missing piece of a puzzling long term injury to help in healing.
:
What a great tool for injury prevention, performance support and injury care.
Feel free to schedule an “evaluation” new patient appointment for this assessment, and DM me with any questions.

There are so many voices out there
Listen and speak to your truth
It starts inside
If you don’t believe the statement, keep saying it. One day the head will start believing it and the heart will start feeling it
:
I have positive uplifting words and phrases all around my office and in my home. The constant reminder helps me learn to truly believe

I would love to hear what affirmations speak to you… drop it in the comments or shoot me a DM

It’s been nearly a year since I taught an Intro MFD class (cupping) to healthcare professionals and Whitworth students. It was a wonderful experience and really stretched my comfort zone
:
I am one of very few in Spokane WA certified in MFD (aka MFDc). I am very proud of being a certified provider of that manual therapy. It required taking 2 separate courses, a practical exam and written exam. It has been the hardest manual therapy certification I’ve obtained, but also one of the most rewarding.
Because of my certification and extensive knowledge in this manual therapy, you’ll noticed I provide care differently then most when using this tool, but I also see measureable results that benefit your treatment plan and care.

Do you know what lights you up?
This is mine… I love working with student athletes and seeing them enjoy what they love doing and becoming adults.
My name is Brit, I am an athletic trainer, fitness instructor and wellness advocate. I have worked in a variety of athletic settings in my career. Having experience in the WNBA, semipro soccer, NCAA division I and III settings.
I am also a fitness instructor at Re fitness studio. Currently I teach yoga and a spin class called Ride and Release (one of my favorites because you end with stretching and self massage). I enjoy creating a welcome space for fun and self care
❤️ My favorite colors are teal, sage and black
🧡 Music is life
💛 I dance randomly (I’m not trained at all)
💚 Plant killer, but I still buy them
💙 I love water (drinking and being on it)
💜 The human body fascinates me
🖤 I used to play a team sport, can you guess which one? (There’s 2 right answers)

This is easier said than actually felt in our hearts.

Close your eyes, and say to yourself 5 times “I am enough, exactly as I am right now.”

Take one step at a time
Listen to your heart
Then fly
:
As we come up on the 6th anniversary of TALEM 😱 (yea I said that, in shock). I want to remind you, and myself, that everything takes time. But you need to take that brave step first for anything to happen/change
