You do NOT need ovarian cysts to have PCOS.

PCOS is primarily a hormonal and metabolic condition, not just an ovarian issue. Many women diagnosed with PCOS don’t actually have cysts visible on ultrasound.
Diagnosis is usually based on at least two of the following: irregular or absent periods, signs of elevated androgens (like acne or excess facial hair), or polycystic-appearing ovaries.

Some women have cysts and don’t have PCOS.
Some women have PCOS and don’t have cysts.

Focus on nourishing, whole, balanced foods 80% of the time… and allow flexibility 20% of the time. 🍎🥗🍫
