With the time change from Daylight Saving Time, many of us may feel more tired than usual. It’s a great reminder that sleep plays an important role in both our physical and mental health.

Research shows that sleep quality is closely connected to depression, stress, and emotional well-being. Even small sleep challenges can impact mood and daily functioning.

Taking steps like keeping a consistent sleep schedule, limiting screens before bed, and creating a relaxing bedtime routine can help improve sleep and support mental wellness. 💤🌙

March is National Brain Injury Awareness Month 🧠💚

This month is a reminder to lead with patience, understanding, and support for those navigating life after a brain injury. Awareness helps create more compassionate communities and better access to care.

Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) is often misunderstood and frequently misrepresented. In reality, it is a complex trauma response and a way the mind works to protect itself after overwhelming experiences.

DID Awareness Day is a reminder to replace myths with understanding and stigma with compassion. Every person’s healing journey looks different, and no one should have to navigate it alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling, support is available in our Spokane community and beyond. You can call or text 988 for the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline to connect with trained counselors anytime or also come in to our FBH Access to Care enrollment office @ 131 S Division street. We are here for you! ♥️

March is Self-Injury Awareness Month, a time to break the stigma and create safe spaces for honest conversation. Self-injury is often a sign of deep emotional pain — not attention-seeking, not weakness, and not something to judge. Many individuals use self-harm as a way to cope with overwhelming feelings, trauma, or distress.

If you or someone you love is struggling, reaching out can feel hard, but it can also be the first step toward hope 🧡 Talking to a trusted person, counselor, or support line can make a difference.

In our community, support is available through local behavioral health services. Let’s replace shame with compassion and silence with support. Contact us at (509)838-4651 to connect with our team today, or call or text 988 to reach the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

💚🚨 Frontier Behavioral Health’s Co-Responder Teams Are Making an Impact! We’re proud to be featured on the Fourfront Contributor website for the work our co-responder teams are doing to help build a crisis system that works for everyone! A big thank you to Firmani & Associates for the thoughtful spotlight as part of the Return on Response Campaign!
Our co-response model pairs behavioral health professionals with law enforcement and paramedics to respond to 911 calls involving mental health crises- bringing care, de-escalation, and connection to resources right where it’s needed most. Over the past six years, these teams have expanded across Spokane County and helped divert thousands of individuals from jail and emergency departments into appropriate care and support. Rooted in dignity, safety, and compassion, this work strengthens our community every day — and we’re honored to be part of it.

Happy Random Acts of Kindness Day! ✨
At Frontier Behavioral Health, we see every day how small acts of kindness can make a big difference — a listening ear, a reassuring smile, a moment of patience, or simply showing up for someone in need.

Kindness doesn’t have to be big to be powerful.
✔️Hold the door.
✔️Send a text to check in.
✔️Offer encouragement.
✔️Thank someone who makes a difference in your life.

Today (and every day), we’re reminded that compassion strengthens our community. What’s one small act of kindness you can share today? 💚
