Last week Dr. Chey Bratt and Dr. Elijah Hale attended the annual WCAAP Advocacy Day in Olympia. 🏛️

They met with other pediatricians and state representatives to advocate for pediatric mental health, preventative care, and Medicaid coverage to protect Washington kids! 🩺

Our annual residency holiday party was filled with good food, great company, and the spirit of giving. After sharing a meal, we helped Family Support Services at Providence Sacred Heart prepare for their annual Santa Store — and even snuck in some birthday celebrations for Dr. Rocholl and Dr. Moore! 🎄🎅🎉

🏖️Hometown: Fort Lauderdale, Florida - She lived in the same house her whole life until she started med school
🍟Favorite Food: Chicken Nuggets - specifically happy meals! She still gets excited to see what the toy is
🥜Fun Fact: Parvin has an obsession with peanut butter and is willing to try it on anything
🏋️‍♀️Hobbies: Weight training, watching Bollywood movies with her cousin and playing pickleball
🍁Favorite thing about Spokane: It is not humid year round and has actual seasons!

Join us in congratulating Dr. Karina Dierks and Dr. Yvette Rosser, this year’s recipients of the Robert Heskett Teaching Award!

This award is named after Dr. Robert Heskett, a trailblazer for the pediatric and medical education community in Spokane. Dr. Dierks and Dr. Rosser have carried this same spirit and have shown immense dedication to teaching resident physicians. We are grateful for their leadership and commitment to residents!
