Neely's Yoga

Neely offers weekly classes, as well as online classes at www.neelysyoga.com. Email neelywadden@gmail.com I began to think of how I could share this with others.

Neely is specifically trained to teach many levels of yoga, including Prenatal Yoga, Postnatal Yoga, Partner Prenatal workshops, and private classes. I committed myself to an almost daily yoga practice after learning that I was pregnant for the first time in 2007. I wanted to do all that I could to feel vibrant and healthy throughout my pregnancy. Little did I know that I was beginning an amazing journey which would inspire my own body and mind and call me to lead others as a conduit of Yoga. I continued practicing Yoga both at home and through Harmony Yoga because my body grew strong and felt better than it had in years, and I was learning to calm my mind and extend a sense of kindness toward myself and others in a way that I had never known. After the birth of my second child in 2011, I began teaching Prenatal Yoga, having trained specifically in Prenatal and Postnatal yoga at the Seattle Holistic Center. Teaching yoga and establishing a community through my classes nourishes me in so many ways. I took the 200 hour Teacher Training through Harmony Yoga and completed the 300 hour teacher training to become RYT-500. I am passionate about bringing all levels of yoga to my students.

What a beautiful Autumn we are having. Join us a week from today for a one day Autumn Ease Retreat. 10-4 on Sunday November 9th, at a beautiful location a few miles outside of Spokane.
We will practice yoga, meditation, and philosophy. Then, a nurturing Ayurvedic lunch with loose leaf tea, and end with a sound bath. This is a lovely chance to prepare for the upcoming holiday season. 🔥

I had a beautiful weekend with my Love, harvesting and processing tomatoes, and a wonderful family gathering.
This week in class, we're moving into the study of the Yamas of Yoga, moral principles from the ancient practices of yoga, similar to the 10 Commandments. I will incorporate these principles into our physical practice and invite you to carry the awareness of them into your daily life.
This week's first Yama is Ahimsa, do no harm, or non-violence in our words, thoughts, actions. We are called to examine how we affect others, and therefore the world.
