Meet Jenna, the friendly face behind our evening bistro!

Our bistro is more than just a gathering place, it’s where our mornings start with continental breakfast, fresh pastries, and a latte from our espresso machine. Later in the day, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy happy hour, sip a mimosa, grab a cold beer with dinner, or treat yourself to an energy drink pick-me-up.

Prior to working here, Jenna acquired a lot of experience in hospitality. As a result, we get fun new seasonal flavors that she meticulously creates. If you haven’t stopped by to try one of her infamous drinks, you know where to head for happy hour!

Come for the coffee, stay for the cheers🥂

Today we would like to celebrate another long-time employee of Fairwinds, Amy Tanner, our awesome head chef! Amy started her career with Leisure Care ten years ago on St. Patricks Day as a cook. She then was promoted to restaurant supervisor, later to sous chef, and from there became our head chef.

Amy said the best part of her job is making all the residents happy and keeping them well fed with her delicious food! On her off time, she loves the outdoors, gardening, making family dinners, and putting together puzzles. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication, Amy. We appreciate all the laughs your bring to our community and your endless dedication to making our restaurant quality exceptional!

The easiest way to make friends in our community is a quick “Go Zags” in passing! We have quite a few long term supporters in our building and they even have the jerseys to show for it.

You will find the Zags at the top of most of our March Madness brackets this year and every year.

Last Tuesday we had 61 residents, family members, and outside guests join us for charity bingo. We raised a record breaking amount of $600 DOLLARS for Spokane Hope.

There were excellent prizes, singing, laughter, and an incredible amount of kind donations. We love our youth as much as we love our seniors and there’s nothing better than making memories while supporting both.

We could not have done this without our wonderful residents and their fabulous support systems. May we continue to break records every month to support those who need it most.

Today's February Fitness Wrap up Party was a success! Thank you to everyone who donated and sponsored this event. A Huge thank you to Love In Home Senior Care and Care To Stay Home of Spokane! Thank you to our four employees who donated their time for the challenge! (they worked out for 15 minutes) The children at Spokane Hope put on a very cute video of them also getting in their fitness challenges. A huge shout out to Spokane Hearing Oral Program of Excellence - HOPE!
